In January 2022, I was in Hawaii when the biggest swell of the season hit the coast.  After shooting a day of big waves in Waimea, I decided to follow the swell until the northern coast of California. In this gallery, I show you some photos of this wave hunting trip. It starts at Ocean Beach in San Francisco, goes to the famous wave of Mavericks in Half Moon Bay, and continues to Santa Cruz, driving by Cabrillo Highway.  On the way, I found amazing places that made me stop to contemplate the beautiful scapes and record them on my camera.
